Our partner, the Food Foundation, recorded a podcast in which speakers debated whether the government’s commitment to ending mass dependence on emergency food parcels can be achieved through change in support for local food systems.  Speakers included Leon Ballin from the Food Foundation, Penny Walters as one of the Food Foundation’s Food Ambassadors, Andrew Forsey from Feeding Britain, Elaine Morgan from Greater Manchester Combined Authority, as well as Susanne Jaspars.  Using findings from the research, Susanne argued that food security cannot be achieved without addressing digital exclusion as well and that this needs national as well as local action.
