On 5 November 2024, Iris Lim presented “Digital Access to Welfare Services and Food Assistance for Migrants in the UK” at the Future of Immigration Conference 2024. 

Her presentation explored the increasing digitalisation of food assistance practices in the UK and its impact on migrant populations, highlighting key challenges and barriers faced by this group. She examined the dual potential of digital tools: their ability to promote inclusivity while also posing risks of exclusion for individuals with limited digital access or skills.
